The Deacons at Wallace seek to serve the congregation and surrounding community by performing and encouraging acts of mercy and generosity. We receive gifts from the congregation during worship on Sunday morning and sometimes make specific needs known on Communion Sundays. The Deacons also seek to make sure the church property is cared for and is serving the needs of the congregation and community. The Deacons pray for the church members and seek ways to encourage church members to be aware of, and care for, the needs of others. In this past year the congregation has been particularly generous toward family emergencies within our own congregation and medical aid both within our own congregation as well as abroad.
Any matters that may require diaconal assistance may be directed to any of our deacons, or to the church office which will be passed on to the deacons.
