Event Series: Body and Soul Fitness

Body & Soul Co-Ed Cardio Strength Class:
Wednesdays, 6:30-8:00 p.m., Narthex
January 4 – July 25, 2012

Body & Soul Co-Ed Strength & Flexibility Class:
Thursdays, 9:00 – 10:00 a.m., Narthex
January 5 – July 26, 2012

Class Details

1. CO-ED Cardio-Strength Class on Wednesday evenings beginning January 4 the Narthex. No child care.
6:30-7:00 p.m.–low impact cardio workout.
7:00-8:00 p.m.—strength & flexibility workout.
Students may come for the full 90 minutes or just for one hour. The cardio portion includes a variety of movement styles including dance, interval training, and kickboxing routines. The strength/flexibility portion hits ALL the muscle groups and core body for balance, strengthening and flexibility routines using body weight, dumbbell weights, and elastic resistance, along with Pilates and a variety of stretching techniques. Options and modifications are provided for those in need and modeled in our classes. Routines are choreographed to contemporary Christian music.

2. Thursday mornings, 9:00 – 10:00 a.m., Strength & Flexibility (also co-ed) beginning January 5 in the Narthex. Child care is provided by reservation.
This class hits ALL the muscle groups and core body for balance, strengthening and flexibility work using body weight, dumbbell weights, and elastic resistance, along with Pilates and a variety of stretching techniques. Options and modifications are provided for those in need and modeled in our classes.
