Missionaries

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Wallace Presbyterian Church believes strongly in supporting missionaries locally, nationally and internationally through financial support and prayer.  The following is our list of missionaries:

Campbell Family

Wycliffe Translators — Mr. and Mrs. Carl Campbell with children Karis, Emily and Robert in Papua New Guinea

Carl and Jody are on furlough from Papua New Guinea where they are involved in Bible Translation among the Yade Speaking people. Pray that they will be refreshed and renewed during their furlough time and will have many opportunities to share about their ministry. Pray that their Yade co-workers in PNG would be encouraged and able to continue the translation work in their absence. Pray for strength as Carl and Jody continue to work on certain aspects of the translation work while here in the USA.

Puleo Family

We have ministered with The Navigators in New York City for 24 years. As Director, we mentor other staff who serve with the campus of New York University, in the Asian community, doing church discipleship, reaching 20-30 year olds, and in the community with children and their families through Bible clubs. We have seen the Lord do great things to reach the lost and build up new believers. The ministry has become more diverse as we colabor with churches where most are minority members. Please pray for all of us, especially new leaders to be able to live in the NYC economy and have availability amid the stress of living to spend the necessary time reaching out to others. Pray for us to see communities of like minded believers form to support and encourage each other.
